Disaster and Emergency Supreme Board
A Disaster and Emergency Supreme Board, responsible for approving the plans, programmes and reports prepared with regards to disasters and emergencies, has been established. The Board is chaired by the Prime Minister or the Deputy Prime Minister appoint by the PM, and board members consist of the ministers of National Defence, Interior, Foreign Affairs, Finance, National Education, Environment and Urbanization, Health, Transportation, Energy and Natural Resources, and Forests and Hydraulic Works. The relevant ministers, representatives of relevant agencies, organizations and NGOs, and relevant experts can be called to participate in the Board's meetings.
* The Board convenes at least twice a year. The Board can also convene upon the request of the Board Chair. The Presidency carries out the secretarial works of the Board.
