Potable Water Draw Well Construction Will Be Started in Somalia 28 May 2013
Machine drills and its related materials to be built 30 potable water draw wells by Turkish General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works arrived to Mogadishu Harbour of Somalia which suffers from starvation and drought. Within the scope of Prime Minister H.E. Recep Tayyip ERDOĞAN’s prescription, machine drills and its related materials were received by employees of Turkish General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works in Mogadishu Airport as of today in coordination of Prime Ministry Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate(AFAD), Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency Directorate(TİKA) and Turkish General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works(DSİ).

Ten Injured Iraqis Treated in Turkey 28 May 2013
(January 26, 2013) Coordinated by AFAD, ten Iraqis who are injured in an explosion in Iraq and could not have been treated in their country brought to Ankara Etimesgut Military Airport from Erbil, today at 17.44 by an aircraft ambulance of Turkish General Staff.

12 Wounded Iraq Citizens Were Brought To Turkey To Treat 27 May 2013
Numerous Iraq Citizens including private citizens injured caused by bombing attack in a military area of Tuzhurmatu County in Selahaddin State of Iraq on 2 December. Iraqi Turkmen Front President as well Kirkuk Representative Erşad SALIHI demanded 12 irremediably injured people treat in Turkey by contacting Mosul Consulate General of Turkey. Within this scope, AFAD brought 12 injured Iraq Citizens and their 12 hospital attendants by an ambulance aircraft which was allocated by Turkish General Staff in coordination with Foreign Ministry, Interior Ministry and Ministry of Health. 4 Wounded Afghan Citizens are brought to Turkey to Treat 27 May 2013
Prime Ministry AFAD brought 4 Afghan Citizens who irremediably injured in Kabul, Afghanistan caused by bombing attack and their 4 hospital attendants in coordination with Turkish General Staff, Foreign Ministry and Ministry of Health. 16 Wounded Somalian Citizens Were Brought to Our Country 22 May 2013

AFAD Has Rescued 12 Climbers in Niğde Aladağlar 22 May 2013
(15 May 2012) 12 climbers who are from Ukraine has been rescued as a consequence of coordination of AFAD in Nigde Aladaglar National Park. One climber who can’t survive and alive 11 climbers has been arrived due to rescue efforts conducting with 60 search and resque personnel from AFAD Nigde and AFAD Adana provincial directorates, Nigde and Kayseri germanderies, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health, Mountaineering Federation and one helicopter and 6 personnel from Turkish Armed Forces Turkish General Staff.

Another 59 Tones of Humanitarian Aid Has Been Delivered to Somalia 22 May 2013
(26 June 2012 Tuesday) Humanitarian aid has been sent to Somalia via coordination of AFAD which organise institutions, NGO’s and private sector like Republic of Turkey Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Internal Affairs, Republic of Turkey Ministry of Health, Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency Presidency, ASELSAN (a Company of Turkish Armed Forces Foundation) and Turkish Airlines. An air freighter that belongs to Turkish Airlines took off with 59 tons of humanitarian aid which costs 5.2 million Turkish Liras from Ankara Esenboga Airport on 26 July 2012 Tuesday at 01.00 am and has been delivered the humanitarian aid to the capital city of Somalia, Mogadishu same day at noontime.
