40 Tones of Medicine, Medical Supplies, Equipment and Devices Were Sent to Somalia 22 May 2013

Within the scope of humanitarian aid activities, via coordination of AFAD and efforts of Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Health, Administration of Turkish Cooperation and Development (TİKA), and Turkish Airlines; 40 tones of medicines, medical supplies, equipments and devices that costs 1.4 million Turkish Liras were delivered to Somalia.
Humanitarian aid supplies were sent from İstanbul by cargo air plane that was allocated by Turkish Airlines on February 28, 2013 at 2 a.m. and were reached at the capital of Somalia, Mogadishu at noon of the same day.

16 Wounded Somalian Citizens Were Brought to Our Country
Press Release (01 October 2013) In the cause of heavy rainfall in the capital of Sudan, Hartum, hundreds of people were wounded and more than 1.500 buildings were wracked or damaged. Turkish Red Crescent’s humanitarian aid materials consisting of tents, blankets and kitchen kit, was sent to Sudan with the coordination of Prime Ministry AFAD by Turkish Airlines’ cargo aircraft. PRESS RELEASE August 20, 2014 The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of Turkey (AFAD), in cooperation with the General Staff of the Turkish Armed Forces, the Ministry of Health, the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA), the Turkish Red Crescent and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, has transfrred 23 wounded Palestinians to Turkey for treatment. The Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) has coordinated the transfer of wounded Palestinians to Turkey for medical treatment. A military cargo plane with 23 wounded Palestinians and 23 accompanying persons on board has landed at Sabiha Gökçen International Airport in Istanbul on Wednesday evening. Numerous Iraq Citizens including private citizens injured caused by bombing attack in a military area of Tuzhurmatu County in Selahaddin State of Iraq on 2 December.
